My name is John Machado, I’ve been a Realtor serving Kern County since 2007. I’m also currently serving on the board as president of Brighton Place homeowner’s association. I’ve enjoyed growing up in Bakersfield and excelled in sports playing football, track and lettered in wrestling. In my 20’s I owned my own business providing cellular and satellite service as well as commercial theater systems and earned top sales for Dish Network in the northern California region. After years of success and fun I sold my business to pursue a career in the real estate and became business partners with my wife. When the market spiraled downward we shifted with the market and specialized in negotiating with lending institutions to accept less than what is owed on delinquent mortgages. The crash was unprecedented, we became advisors within our profession for distressed homeowners. We created a system called Getting Back on Track 1 2 3 to help our short sale clients get back into home ownership. It’s extremely rewarding to see our distressed sellers becoming home owners once again.
